Have you ever tried to keep six students engaged and happy … and only had one horse?
Hello Bob! + 49 Other Interactive Vaulting Games is written for vaulting instructors and coaches who are looking for creative activities besides the vaulting compulsories. It is also an equally valuable tool for instructors of able-bodied and therapeutic riding sessions. In plain, often humorous language Gisela H. Rhodes shares her secrets accumulated during fourteen years of experience with therapeutic riding. Each game features specific information on skills addressed, set-up and materials, and detailed instructions on how to play the game safely for horse and student. A gem of a book!
“Finally, we have a collection of activities that Gisela has used for many years in her vaulting workshops. Some are very simple and others much more challenging – all proven to be very effective, educational and motivating. All of us at Windrush are delighted that this much anticipated book is finally available as a teaching tool. Both, students and instructors will be inspired and will benefit from this work.
” Amanda Hogan, Executive Director of Windrush Farm Therapeutic Equitation, NARHA Master Instructor “
Gisela knows how to keep our students active, engaged, and working on skills in a way that challenges and entertains at the same time. Her activities really help to invigorate and engage the kids; they’re being asked to think and behave in creative ways that are so different from and yet complimentary to the usual school tasks.”
