FRDI is a global organisation that forms worldwide links between countries, centres and individuals offering equine facilitated activities and assists in the development of new programmes worldwide. We have dues-paying members from 45 different countries.
We strive to offer the most up to date educational information available. FRDI publishes an annual Scientific and Educational Journal of Therapeutic Riding. We maintain a bibliography and an extensive Directory of Education and Training, which lists seminars, workshops and education and training opportunities that our members offer. Please go to the calendar for a listing of current international events.
Every three years it is our privilege to partner with an FRDI Member to run the FRDI International Congress. The congress seeks to feature the latest research and development. This is a unique opportunity that brings the world together to spearhead the promotion of equine assisted activities.
FRDI supports high standards of protection and training of horses involved in all activities.
